Scott and I will be leaving in about an hour to go on an overnight safari. We have been so wrapped up in this adoption for so long we decided to be a couple again for a day or two. Scott will be leaving to travel home to the states on Tuesday so we thought we would leave Bennett with Gladys and do some non-adoption things while we are together in Africa.
Don't know what kind of reception we will have on our phone but it is with us.
I will post one or two more pics of Bennett before we go. They take so long to download that is why we are doing it this way.

HI from Lubbock!! We just wanted to tell you hi and that we love you and miss you! Glenda and Cecil came in today to surprise Chase and made it safely. Chase had a great birthday party tonight- we had about 20 of our friends come over for dessert and chips/dip. Tomorrow is our homecoming football game so we will all be going there (and i get to cheer again! for the first half of the game which will be fun) Hope you guys are having a blast on your overnight safari! Glad you get to have some time together. Can't wait to hear all about it and see pictures! We ALL say goodnight and we LOVE you!

Hope the safari was a great experience for you two. Fill us in. Am updating you on kids/illness through email. Anne took them to the doctor yesterday while we were on our way to Lubbock.

Sher, Just wanted to tell you I love you guys, and except for the virus colt, haley and i have had i've really enjoyed and been blessed by being here with the kids while you and scott are there preparing to bring home another baby for me to love. I sent you an email to your gmail account today hope you got it. Also it is my fervent prayer and thanks to God you and scott enjoyed your time alone.
I am so excited to read your hilarious stories and get a little update on how things are going. Bennett is already growing so fast! He is beautiful. You and Scott look so happy in the pictures. I love you and I'm praying for you.

We are home now from Vegas. We really had a great time....Matt won us some money...lol. WE came home happy. I will honestly say it drove me bananas that I couldn't check your blog daily----when I got home last night it was the first thing I went to. I am always praying for you. Glad you and Scott are getting some time together---and so happy to hear Bennett is doing good. Don't worry about the Rats...I know your pain, Matt and I are dealing with them in our attic...BIG FIELD RATS. ITS DISGUSTING. I miss you. BIG HUGS
